Sugar Cookies


4 cups of almond flour 

a sprinkle of sea salt 

1 tsp of vanilla

1/3 to 1/2 cup of maple syrup 

1/3 cup of coconut oil 


1. combine dry ingredients

2. combine maple syrup and coconut oil and vanilla until well combined

3. add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix well

4. when the dough sticks well together, take it out of the bowl and gently knead in until it becomes a large soft ball 

5. roll out the dough between pieces of parchment paper

6. pull out your favorite cookie cutters and make shapes in the dough

7. bake on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet at 350F for 15-20min (or until the cookies are lightly golden) 

8. These cookies freeze well. Sometimes the dough works best if it is a bit chilled.
