I am a registered Kinesiologist and Health Coach with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. I currently work with clients all across Canada and offer all of my programs online.
When I’m not working with clients or teaching local exercise classes or running clubs, I adore spending time with my husband and two kids, and I’m usually outside if I’m having fun ;). Kayaking, running, hiking, swimming, watching the sun rise or set -- these are just a few ways that I enjoy spending time together with my loved ones.
I also value healthy food and other healthy living practices, and try to integrate them into my daily routines as much as possible. I also love to involve my children as much as possible. I love the challenge of creating meals that are filled with whole foods and natural tasty ingredients. My kids often see packaged items in stores and their first question usually is: Can we make a healthy version of this at home? We also take time to shop for local and organic foods together, supporting the farms and small businesses around us as much as possible. We also love to garden together whenever possible.
Empowering others to achieve their best healthy life is a main source of energy for me. I love nothing better than getting to witness the amazing changes that take place when my clients tackle health goals and achieve them.
Pretty much, the best way to bring a smile to my face is to tell me that you are exercising or eating well or are hoping to pursue those goals, and it makes me excited to get to sojourn with many of you either as a professional or friend.
